Why dont have an iphone 5 layout actualization??

The activity scroller buttons stopped responding upon the update application.

This still isnt optimized for iPhone 6 or 6 Plus resolutions and it does not feature basic Apple Watch support. It would be convenient to at least power on and off systems with the watch.

Many thousands of dollars spent, to install Savant operating system for my home entertainment Audio/Video and many hours with my Tech guy, to try and resolve many operating issue. However still cannot get the Savant app to open on my iPhone 6 Plus. It just repeatedly keeps crashing. Whats the point.......They are selling an operating system, that does not have the complete compatibility with the Apple iPhone 6 Plus. When is the update forthcoming, or is that too much to ask....

If you can avoid this system do so, the Mac Mini Controller at the centre of the system uses its Serial Number in order to License the Savant Software. If that Mac dies it takes everything with it, and if you replace it you need Savant to issue a NEW License Number. And they take their own sweet time in doing so. It’s such a shame that a promising system like this is throttled by the company promoting it.

I cannot believe I would trust a Mac mini to control my home. What a terrible waste of money. Back to vantage and contol4 I go.

I really like the Savant platform and this app is pretty good; however, I use the Spotify feature a lot and that interface is very clunky and outdated. For instance, if you search for an album and start at a given song on that album Savant will not automatically continue with the rest of the album. That is irritating. Or if you search for a song by title the display only shows the song name, not the artist, so if it is a common song or one that has been covered by other bands you cant necessarily choose the one from the band you want - you have to pick from the list and skip forward until you find the one you want. These are standard playback options in the Spotify app itself so it is frustrating that given the investment in this platform Savant cant or wont integrate these features into their app. I emailed Savant directly about these issues and they basically said "thanks for the email" but made no changes. Edit to add - The Spotify interface has been down for nearly a week. I called into Savant service on Monday. They said they were getting reports of the problem; however, they still have not fixed it. Boo. It has been a week and no sign of a fix. I am totally disappointed with this system. With the recent Spotify update the interface again stopped working for a week or so. Second edit - when there is an update it would be great to get a little more detail instead of just "customer requested enhancements." This provides no information.

Doesnt offer on-screen keyboard in situations that warrant the need for one. Various other issues.

Great product

This works most of the time, but Id rate it satisfactory at best. Ive paid a tremendous amount of money for this system, so I had high expectations, which it definitely does not meet. Its not a bad program, it just doesnt work as well as something this pricey should. The new remotes do not provide the level of control that they need. They also seem to have issues occasionally. Using an IPad is much easier than using the remotes. I would not install this system again, and would go go with something more moderately priced that actually works all the time and has remote controls that make more sense. Whoever designed their new remotes needs to be relieved of their job.

Doesnt work with iPhone6 iOS8. I am on the current release that supports ios8 yet still doesnt work. Please fix.

Doesnt stay connected to a system in iOS 8. Why wasnt Savant ready? Disappointing that I have to revert to iOS 7 on both my phone and iPad.

Still not the App it needs to be. Please fix. Im sure you want to ensure your customers happiness .

I upgraded my iPhone 5 (waiting for the 6 to arrive) to iOS 8. This App is not ready for iOS 8. it will lose the stored log-in information and then it will reappear. If it does log into the app, it will crash shortly thereafter. Wait for the update.

Must be an alpha version. Running on a 5S with iOS 8 but so buggy you have to re-enter USERID & Password each time and even then , it doesnt always execute. Have done a complete reinstall and still no luck.

Downloaded the update and since that time have had major issues using this on the iPhone. Very unreliable crashes constantly, Does not store login information. Please fix the glitches. Thanks

Savant as usual has underwhelmed with the latest "update" it is worthless at this point. I have an iPhone 5 with iOS 8 and have to continually re enter my login info. Very frustrating and hopeful that the $ KKR is injecting in Savant will allow them to hire people/engineers that care about their end users like us!

90% of the time the app cant log into the system. When it does it may work for a short time but will likely crash. This is very frustrating.

if you want Savant to work. Their update says it does, but it does not. Check versions and be sure there is at least one new one after this review.

Starts to load, immediately crashes
